The cake mould is absolutely perfect! The professional quality is evident as soon as you hold it - solid, durable and built to last. The double non-stick coating works perfectly - baked and cold cakes release without a problem every time, leaving beautiful details on the surface.

Very sturdy and weighty cake tin. Beautiful flower design.Quite large, 10cup (2.5L ish) and most recipes seem to need something a little smaller…

How to use it

Grease it with soft butter, not melted. This is the single most important thing: soft butter clings to the wall and reaches every crevice. Melted butter slides off, pools at the bottom and leaves the relief bare.

Then dust with flour, especially over the relief. The non-stick coating helps, but on a patterned tin this is what makes sure the cake comes out whole.

Fill it two-thirds at most: the batter rises. Let it cool 10 to 15 minutes before turning it out; hot it breaks, cold it sticks.

Oven safe. Not for induction, direct flame or the dishwasher.

Care

Warm water, mild soap and a cloth. No scouring pads and no powders: they scratch the non-stick layer, and that's where the sticking starts.

No dishwasher either. Tablet detergent is harsh and wrecks the coating in a handful of cycles. It's the one rule that really matters.

Don't cut the cake inside the tin and don't use metal utensils against the surface.

Why this tin

What makes it different

Double non-stick coating
1 / 5

Double non-stick coating

Water-based. The cake comes away by itself: half the ring does not stay stuck in the tin and you do not lose the pattern when you turn it out.

Solid cast aluminium
2 / 5

Solid cast aluminium

It is heavy because it is solid. It spreads the heat evenly and lasts years in the oven without bulging or losing its shape, which is what happens to thin aluminium tins.

Bakes sooner and more evenly
3 / 5

Bakes sooner and more evenly

The central hole lets heat through the middle, so the batter bakes from both sides at once. Less oven time and no raw centre.

No PFOA, no heavy metals
4 / 5

No PFOA, no heavy metals

The coating is water-based: free of PFOS, PFOA, lead, cadmium, arsenic and mercury. What touches your cake adds nothing to it.

A cloth is all it takes
5 / 5

A cloth is all it takes

Warm water, mild soap, done. No scouring pad and no dishwasher: that's the one rule, and it's what keeps the non-stick working five years from now.

Why cast aluminium

Cast aluminium, silicone or pressed metal tin

All three make cakes. The difference is in how they spread the heat, whether they hold their shape and how many years they last you.

Fungerar perfekt.

Bin begeistert!

Frequently asked questions

Do I still need to grease it if it's non-stick?

Yes, and with soft butter, not melted. Soft butter clings to the wall and reaches the crevices; melted butter slides to the bottom and leaves the relief bare. Then dust with flour. It's two minutes, and it's what makes the pattern come out clean.

Is it dishwasher safe?

No. Tablet detergent is harsh and ruins the non-stick layer in a handful of cycles. By hand, with warm water, mild soap and a cloth: no scouring pads.

Can it go on induction or a direct flame?

No. It's an oven tin. Don't put it on a hob, induction or gas, and never on a direct flame.

How much batter does it hold?

The capacity in litres is up in the details. Fill it two-thirds at most: the batter rises in the oven, and if you fill it right up it spills over the central ring.

When do I turn it out?

Let it rest 10 or 15 minutes on a rack, then turn it out. Hot, the cake is tender and breaks; fully cold, it grips the walls.

What if I don't like it?

You have 60 days to send it back, free and without explaining yourself. Message us on WhatsApp from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and we handle it ourselves.
