Features and benefits of cake pans
Long-lasting durability: Erreke's cake pans are made of high-strength cast aluminum; Following proper care could offer you many years of use. In addition, they guarantee a professional performance baking that, together with the beautiful shapes, will give your dessert a unique and spectacular appearance.
Non-stick and easy to use: The high-quality non-stick coating that we have used in our bundt cake molds will help you to unmold your cake without any problem. We always recommend that you use a release spray, or a little flour, and / or butter / shortening, to ensure that you get a perfect release.
Professional quality, adapted for amateurs: This pastry mold is suitable for any level of culinary experience, making it possible for beginners to make spectacular desserts and for the more experienced to have a differentiating appearance over the competition.
Uniform cooking: This cake mold, with a hole in the center, allows the heat to reach the very center of the cake, thus achieving a faster and more uniform baking. Likewise, the molten aluminum achieves a homogeneous heat transmission on the outside of the cake, achieving professional results.
Easy cleaning: The qualities of the materials used to make this cake mold facilitate the cleaning process. You can do this by simply wiping a cloth or towel with a little soapy water, and then letting it dry. We suggest not using the dishwasher to preserve its non-stick properties.
Cleaning and maintenance
To maintain the qualities of the non-stick layer of the oven mold, we recommend that you do not use the dishwasher when washing it. We recommend washing it by hand, with water and dish soap. Never use utensils that can damage the internal parts of your mold, such as metal utensils, scourers, or abrasives. Silicone, rubber or wooden utensils are preferable.
Recommendations for use
- Before the first use, do not forget to wash your mold well.
- For easy unmolding and for the design of your cake to be clearly defined, we recommend that every time you use the mold you can use baking spray, but never use regular cooking oil.
- When filling the bundt mold, pour the mixture slowly to prevent air bubbles from forming. Place a cloth on the table and tap it gently with the mold, to release the few bubbles that may have been created. After this use a spatula to spread the mixture so that the sides are a little higher than the center, in this way you will ensure that the baking is done evenly and the shape can be better appreciated.
- Bake according to the directions in your recipe. Transfer the bundt pan with the baked cake to a cooling rack and let the cake sit there for about 15 minutes. After this time, tap the mold and shake it gently so that the cake looses little by little.
IMPORTANT NOTE: After many tests we have found that the best way to ensure that the mixture does not overflow is to fill the mold up to 70-75% of its capacity. This is because each mixture is different and will grow according to its ingredients.
